The Transport Laws and Related Matters Amendment Act has been published in the Government Gazette (Gazette No. 36878 Notice No. 716) today, 26 September 2013.
The Presidency has noted reports that the President signed the Transport Laws and Related Matters Amendment Bill into law yesterday, 25 September 2013, the day the matter was before the Supreme Court of Appeal.
The reports are untrue. The President signed the Bill into law on Saturday, 21 September before departing for the United States of America to attend the 68th United Nations General Assembly Session.
