Gauteng MEC for Finance, Mr Mandla Nkomfe, announced at a the quarterly MEC media briefings held on 1 September that all contracts and or awards by the Gauteng provincial government will be made available for public scrutiny on a quarterly basis.
In keeping with the undertaking made by the MEC, the list of all awards for the second quarter of the 2009/10 financial year as at 6 September 2010 have been published and can be viewed on http://www.finance.gpg.gov.za
The initiative is part of Gauteng provincial government's commitment to good governance, openness and transparency.
