Congratulations are in order for Ezimnyama ngenkani, ezikamagebhula, Orlando Pirates who last night ended their six-year trophy drought by winning the season opener competition, the MTN 8.
They achieved this feat after coming back from a goal down to beat a gallant Bloemfontein Celtics 2-1 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
This match was a great advertisement for South African Football. Celtic deserved huge credit for making this a tough game for the Buccaneers, despite playing most of the second half with a 10-man squad.
