The Presidency has noted media speculations about appointments to key management positions in the Presidency. Reports about key appointments in The Presidency which appeared in the media recently remain just speculation and do not reflect the thinking of The Presidency on the matter.
All senior management vacancies in The Presidency will be filled in terms of the Public Service Regulations. Posts will be advertised and all prospective candidates will be invited to apply. All applications will be considered on merit and no posts are reserved for particular individuals.
The Presidency appeals to the public and the media to refrain from speculating on the appointments and allow the due process to take its course. Appointments will be announced once the process has been completed.
