Police finds General Mina Molatjana guilty of fraud

The suspended Provincial Head of the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation in Limpopo Major General Dibero Mina Molatjana has been found guilty by the SAPS Disciplinary Committee following her suspension in May this year.

Molatjana was found guilty of being an accomplice to fraud for her role in requesting her secretary to register her (Molatjana’s) sister as her dependent in a medical aid scheme. She was also found guilty of instructing her subordinates to use state-owned vehicles transport her son on several occasions from Polokwane to Pretoria where he was studying.

Molatjana will know her fate in the DPCI on 28 October 2015 when her judgement will be handed down. The National Head of the DPCI Lieutenant General Mthandazo Ntlemeza has welcomed the verdict but was quick to warn other members that they will be faced with the same fate if they involve themselves in corrupt activities.
