An old man passed on at Pholosong hospital last night increasing the number of those who died as a result of the fire that broke out at Pieter Wessels old age home in Nigel, Ekurhuleni to 23.
Today at noon, these victims of the fire will be remembered in a memorial service at Nigel community hall, 248 Hendrik Verwoerd Drive in Nigel.
Gauteng Premier, Nomvula Mokonyane; Health and Social Development MEC Qedani Mahlangu and Ekurhuleni Mayor Ntombi Mekgwe, will be in attendance to offer their support to the families and friends of the deceased.
