NW Province sends best wishes to its residents participating in 2022 Comrades Marathon
North West Provincial Government wishes all road runners from the province who are participating in the 2022 Comrades Marathon, the best of luck and that they must have a wonderful and a successful race.
North West Province has scores of runners who will take part in the down run from Pietermaritzburg to Durban. One of the prominent runners include Edward Mothibi who won the highly competitive 2019 Comrades Marathon after a spectacular performance.
“Physical activity is very important for one to keep healthy and fit at all times. We encourage more residents of the North West Province to follow in the footsteps of runners who are taking part in this marathon which is dubbed the Ultimate Human Race. It’s time for them to once more test their endurance and tenacity. We wish them all the best” remarked Premier Maape
