Parliament’s National Council of Provinces (NCOP) will today elect its permanent Deputy Chairperson and rotating Deputy Chairperson at a meeting of the house starting at 14h00.
Also scheduled to be elected are the:
* Chief Whip of the NCOP
* House Chairperson: Committees
* House Chairperson: Oversight and Institutional Support
The appointments of members to the Judicial Services Commission (JSC), the Magistrates Commission, the Southern African Development Community Parliamentary Forum and the Pan African Parliament are also scheduled to occur.
