Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development, Ms Thoko Didiza, MP has learnt with shock the brutal killing of another young farmer in the province of Free State.
It is alleged that Mr Tebogo Machakela was shot in the head by a group of assailants. Mr Machakela’s brutal killing follows on heels of the murder of another young farmer Mr Brendin Horner.
“The death of Mr Tebogo Machakela is not only a great loss to his family and friends but to the agricultural sector as a whole, “ said Minister Didiza.
The Minister calls upon anyone who might have witnessed this senseless killing of this young farmer to assist the police to arrest the culprits.
“In the same light I call upon the police to live no stone unturned in making sure that culprits are put behind bars,” emphasised Minister Didiza.
The Minister sends her sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Machakela family, friends and colleagues of Tebogo.
