Minister Ndebele conveys condolences on the passing on of former Minister, Ben Skosana

Correctional Services Minister Sibusiso Ndebele has conveyed condolences following the sudden passing on of former Minister Ben Skosana in Cape Town last night.

Mr Skosana served as Minister of Correctional Services from 1998 to 2004, first in President Nelson Mandela’s cabinet and later under President Thabo Mbeki.
Minister Ndebele said the passing on of Mr Skosana is a sad loss to the country as his positive outlook on life, and his commitment to improve people’s quality of life, was invaluable.

“We will sadly miss him, but his family and friends should take solace in knowing that he lived his life to the fullest and contributed towards the building of the new democratic, non-racial, non-sexist and prospering South Africa we are enjoying today,” said Minister Ndebele.
