The Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Pravin Gordhan, announces the extension of Director-General Vusi Madonsela’s contract for further five years as a Director-General of cooperative governance department.
This comes after the Cabinet’s recent approval of Mandosela’s appointment for an extended period in this portfolio.
Minister Gordhan commends Director-General Madonsela’s loyalty and commitment to public service which spans 12 years as a director-general in government departments.
“The Department of Cooperative Governance is privileged and honoured to have a leader with integrity and commitment that Mr Madonsela has demonstrated to be,” says Minister Gordhan.
