The Presidency has confirmed that the late MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development, Mme Joyce Mashamba, qualifies for a Provincial Official Funeral Category 1 as per Amended State Official and Provincial Official Funeral Policy Manual.
The Provincial Government has met with the family and preparations for the funeral have commenced, following activities has been collectively agreed upon:
- Official Memorial Service on Wednesday 27 June 2018 at University of Limpopo, Great Tiro Hall at 10h00
- Alliance Memorial service on Thursday 28 June 2018 at Shiluvhani Village at 10h00
- Limpopo Legislature Special Seating on Friday 29 June 2018 at Lebowakgomo at 10h00
- Official Funeral Service on Saturday 30 June 2018 at Mudavula Stadium at 08h00
Condolence book will be made available at the reception of Office of the Premier and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and during Official Memorial Service and Alliance Memorial Service.
