Limpopo Education on Tenyane school learners rushed to hospital for treatment

Twenty-two learners from Tenyane Secondary School, Ngwaritsi Circuit, Mamaone village in Sekhukhune District have been taken to Jane Furse Hospital for further treatment and observation. This follows learners complaining of stomach aches and cramps this afternoon. The department is waiting for advice and information from the Health Professionals as to what might have caused learners to untimely fall sick in numbers.

The department will be working very closely with Health Professionals to ensure that all these learners get proper assistance so that they return to school.

We call on the parents of learners not to panic as the situation will be investigated thoroughly to ensure that learners are safe at all times.
