The National Assembly’s Ad Hoc Committee on the Protection of State Information Bill met today and considered clauses 42 and 45 of the Protection of State Information Bill.
The Committee tabled a report recommending that the President’s reservations on the Bill be accommodated. The Committee has finalised work on the Bill and the Programming Committee will decide on the date of debate in the National Assembly.
