Minister Hlengiwe Mkhize meets with Civil Society on interventions during Coronavirus Covid-19 lockdown challenges, 13 May

Deputy Minister Mkhize joins Civil Society in exploring ways to deal with GBV, challenges youth face, and persons with disabilities during the lockdown

Deputy Minister in the Presidency: Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities Professor Hlengiwe Mkhize joins a conversation with Civil Society on the various interventions meant to support women, young people and persons with disabilities during the national lockdown.

Alongside Deputy Minister Mkhize, will be Women Rights Activist Rosie Motene, the CEO of HIVSA Yashmita Naidoo, and Representative from Disabled People South Africa Charles Majola.

The conversation will also put the spotlight on the role which young people could play to assist in combating the spread of coronavirus.
