With less than a week before the beginning of the matric final exams, the Executive Council of the Gauteng Provincial Government wishes the Matric Class of 2013 well on their final exams which commence on Monday, 28 October.
“On behalf of the Gauteng Provincial Government, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all Gauteng matriculants well on the upcoming exams.
“We trust that you have been studying hard throughout the year in preparation of the final and most important leg of your basic education.
We are also confident that just like the class of 2012, you will ensue that the province retains its position as the top performing province,” said the Mokonyane.
Gauteng recorded the highest provincial increase in matric pass rates, increasing from 81.1% in 2011 to 83.9% in 2012 making it the top-performing province in 2012.
