Gauteng Department of Human Settlement continues to record significant acceleration in housing delivery, as implementation of Breaking New Ground (BNG) strategy get into full swing.
We are in the business of housing development to serve the community of Gauteng. We are governed by values that seek to build sustainable communities. We stand for quality service. We work towards the provision of variety of tenure where members of various communities will have access to affordable housing within targeted precincts and communities.
The housing delivering has always been achieved through five key priority areas, namely:
* mixed development
* eradication of informal settlements
* alternative tenure
* urban renewal programme
* twenty priority township programme
