Numerous news reports and current affairs programmes that have covered the Cabinet reshuffle by the President of the Republic, Mr Jacob Zuma has been erroneous with regards to changes within the Ministry for Public and Administration (MPSA).
The reports indicate that Minister for the Public Service and Administration, Mr Richard Baloyi has been replaced by Ms Ayanda Dlodlo.The MPSA hereby affirms that Minister Baloyi remains the Minister for Public Service and Administration.
The Deputy Minister for Public Service and Administration, Mr Roy Padayachie has been appointed as the new Communications Minister. Ms Ayanda Dlodlo replaces Mr Padayachie as the Deputy Minister for Public Service and Administration.
The ministry hereby requests all media covering the story to check their facts on the matter before going to print.
