Media accreditation for the fourth BRICS Ministers of Environment and Basic Meetings
South Africa, through the Department of Environmental Affairs, will host the fourth BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) and the BASIC (Brazil, South Africa, India and China) Environment Ministers meetings that will deliberate on various issues of common interest, from 17 to 18 and 19 to 20 May 2018 respectively in Durban.
Members of the media are requested to apply for accreditation to cover the meetings, by completing the attached registration form. A completed form must be sent back to the Department of Environmental Affairs by no later than Tuesday, 24 April 2018.
A detailed statement on the exact matters of discussion for the meetings, and details regarding collection of accreditation cards will be communicated in due course.
