Results of the municipal by-elections held on 19 August 2015
The African National Congress has retained the ward that was contested in the By-Election held on the 11th November 2015 in Nkomazi Municipality Ward 20. The new councillor for the African National Congress in ward 20 is Njabulo Sydney Mnisi.
The results saw the African National Congress retaining the ward by 89.07% against the Democratic Alliance which managed to get 10.93% of the total votes.
Voter turnout in the by-elections was 22.77%.
