Department Public Works Director-General embarks on a walkabout at the Prestige properties
As part of his unannounced site visits, today on 17 January 2014, the Department of Public Works’ Director-General, Mr Mziwonke Dlabantu, went on a walkabout to the Union Buildings, Brynterion Estates, Mahlamba Ndlopfu (President’s official residence), OR Tambo House (Deputy President’s official residence) and several ministerial houses.
He was accompanied by a team from Security, Prestige, Horticultural Services, Technical Services and Communications. The main purpose of the DG’s visit was to do a site inspection of the Prestige properties to check their upkeep, as well as the state of both the technical maintenance and horticultural services.
