Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe concludes his Working Visit in the Federal Republic of Nigeria
Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe on Wednesday 27 February 2014, concluded his working visit in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Deputy President Motlanthe attended a One-Day Summit Level Conference, marking the centenary of Nigeria, in Abuja.
In his remarks, Deputy President emphasised that much still need to be done to emancipate Africa's people from poverty, inequality, unemployment and the burden of diseases.
Deputy President Motlanthe expressed his heartfelt condolences to the people of Nigeria on the tragic, loss of innocent lives of Nigerian students who were killed by a group of terrorists in the North of Nigeria.
Deputy President departed Nigeria on 28 February 2014.
