Deputy President Kgalema Motlanthe has today, 17 July 2010, arrived in Vienna, Austria where he is leading a government delegation to represent South Africa at the International AIDS Conference scheduled for 18 to 23 July 2010.
The Deputy President is expected to address the opening ceremony of the conference and take part in a panel discussion with the theme: "Towards paradigm shift in HIV prevention and treatment".
He will officially open the South African exhibition at the conference venue that will include the celebration of the Nelson Mandela Day and thereafter he will pay a courtesy call on Austrian President, Mr Heinz Fischer.
