CGE wishes matriculants well

The Commission for Gender Equality (CGE) wishes matriculants well, in their exam. The CGE calls upon parents, guardians, relatives and community members to give matriculants ample and adequate time and space to prepare and concentrate on their exams.

It is incumbent on parents, guardians, relatives and community members to be supportive and encourage students to do well in the examinations regardless of their gender, ethnic or social origin, religious belief, sex and sexual orientation. As South Africans we should protect the right to education at all times. “Harding working coupled with support and encouragement will inspire and ensure that students perform exceptionally well”, said Mr Mfanozelwe Shozi, the Chairperson of the Commission for Gender Equality.
