The Commission for Gender Equality (CGE) notes with concern the nature of allegation against Mr Willie Madisha. The CGE cannot condone any form of sexual harassment. Our Legal department will monitor the processes that the Congress of the People (COPE) has undertaken to address the matter. We will therefore issue a formal statement following the COPE’s finalisation of the internal processes. Should the alleged victim wish to lodge a formal complaint with us, we will gladly investigate the matter.
