President Jacob Zuma has, in terms of section 178(8) of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa, 1996, following nomination by the legal profession to represent the Attorney’s profession, appointed Mr Jan Stemmet as an alternate member of the Judicial Service Commission with effect from 1 October 2013.
“We wish to congratulate Mr Stemmet on being appointed to the JSC and wish him well in the execution of his duties,” said President Zuma.
