The Director-General of the Department of Military Veterans, Mr Tsepe Motumi says it is all systems go to host the Military Veterans conference between the 29 September and 1 October 2013 at the Birchwood Hotel in Boksburg to establish a Military Veterans Umbrella Association that will represent all Military Veterans.
"We are excited as the Department of Military Veterans that all preparations are in place for the conference that will be attended by 600 military veterans coming from various military veterans formations such as SANMVA, AZANLA,former TBVC states MVA's, CMVO, MK Military ex Liberation Military War Veterans, SACC, APLAMVA not affiliated to SANMVA and Ex Combatants Foundation"said the DG.
"This conference is truly historical and it will open a new chapter in the history of Military Veterans. The DMV will make sure that the Umbrella Association that will be established work closely with the department as government as well as other stakeholders and representatives of Military Veterans in a fair, transparent and accountable manner" said the DG
Currently Military Veterans' attending the conference are arriving in numbers at the Birchwood Hotel to attend the conference.
