President Jacob Zuma participates in 3rd Annual innovaBRICS Conference, 25 to 28 Oct

His Excellency President Jacob Zuma will lead a South African delegation of government and business leaders on a working visit to London in the United Kingdom (UK) from 25-28 October 2014 to participate in the 3rd Annual innovaBRICS Conference.

Brand South Africa has been a lead partner with InnovaBRICS, a business networking forum, since its inception in 2012.

President Zuma will be accompanied by Mr Jeff Radebe, the Minister in the Presidency, Ms Maite Nkoana-Mashabane, the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Dr Rob Davies, the Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr Nhlanhla Nene, the Minister of Finance and Ms Faith Muthambi, the Minister of Communications.

South Africa's participation in the conference will be within the context of promoting the country as a prime business destination. In this respect, President Zuma will give a keynote address during the conference outlining South Africa's role in BRICS and on the African continent in light of South Africa's National Development Plan (NDP) and Vision 2063, amongst others.

The President and delegation will engage with UK business leaders and opinion makers in various forums during the visit.
