Minister of Public Enterprises Lynne Brown departs for Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday, 25 February 2015. She will visit the Abu Dhabi Defence Exhibition at which Denel, for which she has oversight responsibility, and other South African companies are exhibiting.
She will also support the activities of a Denel delegation which is attending the show to promote its products and services. The Denel delegation includes Acting Chair of the Denel Board, Martie Janse van Rensburg, Group CEO, Riaz Saloojee and Group Executive: Business, Zwelakhe Ntshepe.
“Denel is one of our very successful State-Owned Companies and, by its nature, does business all over the world. Exports and linked services will not only improve our balance of payments, it will create jobs and scarce skills in the high-tech and advanced manufacturing sectors which are critical to our global competitiveness.”
