President Zuma sends former President Motlanthe as Special Envoy to Botswana
Former President Kgalema Motlanthe is to travel to Botswana as a Special Envoy to represent President Jacob Zuma at the funeral of the late Lieutenant-General Mompati Sebogodi Merafhe, the former Vice-President of the Republic of Botswana.
Lieutenant-General Merafhe sadly passed away on the morning of 7 January 2015. He will be buried tomorrow, Saturday 17 January 2015. Former President Motlanthe will be accompanied by Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Mr Llewellyn Landers.
