Mpumalanga Premier David Mabuza will visit various Comprehensive Rural Development Programmes (CRDP) in the local municipalities (Bushbuckridge Local Municipality and Dr JS Moroka) on 14 and 17 August 2012 respectively, to assess the impact of the implementation of the programme.
The CRDP remains key to government’s vision of creating vibrant, equitable and sustainable rural communities free from socio-economic bondage. This programme is currently being implemented in seven of the poorest local municipalities of the province in a bid to stem the tide against rural underdevelopment.
On 14 August 2012, the Premier’s entourage will converge at the Mkhuhlu Circuit office in Bushbuckridge before visiting projects in four areas, namely, Hoxani, Ronaldsey, New Forest, Gottenburg Integrated rural development project and Hluvukani library.
Premier Mabuza will then address the representatives of the community at Thulamahashe Municipal council chamber at 14h00 to 16h00.
