The Select Committee on Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs will tomorrow, 28 July be briefed by the Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs on the municipalities’ turn-around strategy.
The committee will also get a briefing on the funding model for ward committee members and the draft regulations on the participation of municipal staff members as candidates for national, provincial and municipal elections.
