The Minister of Mining, Ms Susan Shabangu invites the members of the media to the memorial service of the late Mr Louis Selekane who passed away on 30 May 2009. He served as Chief Executive Officer of the South African Diamond Board from March 2003 to 30 June 2007 and was appointed as CEO of the South African Diamond and Precious Metals Regulator in July 2007.
Prior to joining the old South African Diamond Board, he served the Department of Minerals and Energy as Chief Director: Mineral Promotion and Administration.
The Minister will be accompanied by the Director General, Adv Sandile Nogxina and other senior managers from both Departments (Mining and Energy) and she will also deliver a keynote address.
