Members of the media are invited to join the Minister of Trade and Industry (the dti), Dr Rob Davies when he does a walkabout at an exhibition in the Old Assembly Hall, Parliament, Cape Town from 13h30 tomorrow, Thursday, 2 September 2010.
The purpose of the exhibition is to showcase locally manufactured and local content products and to highlight some of the financial support available for the Industrial Policy Implementation Plan IPAP (IPAP2) priorities.
Some of the exhibitions that will be on show comprise of products from VWSA and the Joule Electric Car.
After the walkabout, Minister Davies will briefly address the media subsequent to which, he will then attend a debate on IPAP2 in the National Assembly.Officials from the Industrial Development Corporation, Khula Enterprise, National Empowerment Fund, Dynamic Commodities, Optimal Energy and Volkswagen South Africa will also attend the debate.
