The Minister of Women, Children and People with Disabilities will brief the media on the outcomes of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) session held in New York recently.
The Session, themed “Elimination and prevention of all forms of violence against women and girls” took place from 4 to 15 March 2013. Minister Xingwana was leader of the South African delegation to CSW. South Africa is a signatory to the Commission on the Elimination All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) and other multi-lateral protocols and international instruments.
