The Director-General of Higher Education and Training, Mr Gwebinkundla Qonde, will brief the media on developments at the Walter Sisulu University. He will outline the Department’s Turnaround Framework for the institution and report on progress made, under extremely difficult circumstances, since it was placed under administration on the 30th of October 2011. He will also address stakeholder concerns about the future of the University and what it is going to take to steer it back to stability.
