Readiness for the 11 November 2020 By-elections
The Electoral Commission invites members of the media to a briefing where Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Mr Sy Mamabolo will give update on the state of readiness ahead of the 11 November by-elections.
Issues to be addressed at the briefing include:
- Update on the applications for special votes
- Stringent measures to be undertaken at voting stations to ensure compliance with the Covid-19 safety protocols
- Preparations for the 2021 Local Government Elections
