Electoral Commission to open all voting stations on 10 and 11 March 2018
You are invited by the Electoral Commission to a media briefing at Election House in Centurion. Details on the readiness for the voter registration weekend will be shared with members of the media.

The Electoral Commission has made an early start to the preparations of the 2019 elections. These elections are expected between May and August 2019.
The registration weekend is a milestone towards the culmination of a two-year project to obtain addresses for all registered voters. It is an opportunity to ensure that voters are registered in the correct voting district segments. Further, in accordance with the ruling of the Constitutional Court in 2016 which gave the Electoral Commission until June 2018 voters will be able to update the voters’ roll with their addresses.
The media briefing will provide details of Electoral Commission readiness for the upcoming voter registration weekend of Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 March 2018 to encourage registered voters to check and update their addresses.
