Deputy Minister in the Presidency responsible for youth development, Buti Manamela will brief media on the upcoming the Pan-African Youth Union (PYU) Congress scheduled to take place in Johannesburg from 28 to 29 November 2014.
South Africa will host the fourth official congress of the PYU under the theme “Youth moving Africa forward”.
The congress is expected to deliberate on the following themes; peace and stability, education and skills development, youth entrepreneurship development, international solidarity and the fight against HIV/AIDS on the continent. Deputy Minister Manamela will be supported by National Youth Development Agency Board Chair and President of the PYU, Mr Yershen Pillay.
