The MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison Mr Willies Mchunu will launch an Alcohol Evidence Centre in Port Shepstone in partnership with the South African Breweries Limited (SAB) tomorrow Tuesday, 31 August 2010. This is the province’s third Alcohol Evidence Centre (AEC).
The facility is equipped with state of the art testing devices to assist authorities with law enforcement and the prosecution of drunk drivers. Two other AEC’s have been previously launched, one in Pietermaritzburg and one in Umdloti.
