MEC Khabisi Mosunkutu visit the family of slained policeman killed during hijacking

The MEC for Gauteng Department of Community Safety, Khabisi Mosunkutu will today visit the family of the slained policeman who was brutally killed during a hijacking in Tembisa at the weekend. The visit of the MEC is to offer his condolences and support during this difficult and trying time the family is experiencing.

The late inspector Sam Ngobeni was a Communication Officer stationed at the Olifantsfontein Police Station. The statement that the MEC issued during his press briefing last week, indicated a strong condemnation of police killing, and law enforcers should act decisively as we cannot give criminals a split second to determine whether we continue protecting our society or we die.

The details of the visit are as follows:
Date: 1 June 2009
Time: 15h00
Venue: Olifantsfontein Police Station
