MEC Cronje honours new black women chartered accountants

The MEC for Finance, Ms Ina Cronjé, will on 24 March 2010, take part in the African Women Chartered Accountants (AWCA) celebratory dinner to honour the young black women who passed the Final Qualifying Examinations (FQE).The AWCA is a registered non-profit organisation with a vision to accelerate the development of black female chartered accountants.

The MEC will be a guest speaker in the event and will be motivating as well as encourage the black women in the accounting industry to carry on their good work that will in future add value to the sustainable growth of the KwaZulu-Natal province, particularly in addressing the lack of sound financial management in some public institutions.
