The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Ms Joemat-Pettersson in conjunction with the MEC for the Department of Agriculture, Rural Development and Land Administration, Mr Meshack Malinga will hand over 80 tractors for the three districts of the province during the launch of Mechanisation Support project.
The launch will take place at Manzimahle (Mooiwater) Trust in Middelburg, Steve Tshwete local municipality.
The tractors will be distributed to the three districts of the province (Ehlanzeni, Gert Sibande and Nkangala) in order to expand the Masibuyele Emasimini programme and to ensure that the subsistence and small holder farmers get the necessary tractors and implements.
