The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa hereby invites the media and all stakeholders to a media briefing on High Demand Spectrum Regulations and Invitations to Apply (ITAs).
The authority published two ITAs for radio frequency spectrum licences for the purposes of providing broadband wireless access services in the 2.6GHz and 3.5GHz bands on 28 May 2010. The closing date for these applications was set for 25 June 2010 and subsequently postponed at the request of industry to 30 July 2010.
The authority would therefore like to make a pronouncement in relation to this particular process.
