What: Thabo Mofutsanyana’s District HCT launch
Where: Cresent Mall (Setsing new shopping centre) Qwaqwa
When: Friday, 20 August 2010
09h00 to 12h00: Informal program
13h00 to 16h00: Formal program
Why: The purpose is to ensure that the Free State community takes full responsibility for their health for a healthy society.
HIV and AIDS have been identified as one of the priority programmes for the Free State Department of Health.
How: During the 2009 Presidential speech it was clearly stated that every South African should know their HIV status. To support this, voluntary testing facilities will be available at the launch and everyone is welcomed to make use of the services.
Theme: “I am responsible, we are responsible, the Free State is taking responsibility”.
