Youth Development Agency hands over carwash equipment to Mamusa Going-Green cooperative, 10 Jul

In celebrating International Cooperative Month the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) Executive Deputy Chairperson, Mr Kenny Morolong will engage the youth on the mandate of the NYDA, its products and services. The NYDA continues to host Socio-Economic Youth Dialogues as platforms for young people to interact with the agency and its development partners. This platform will also assist in creating awareness about cooperative enterprises and their significant role in economic transformation. 

The Mamusa Going-Green primary co-operative based will receive equipment to use at their car-wash. The equipment includes micro label printing scale, a chest freezer, post poles, diamond mesh fences, gates, green nets, premix concrete, braai-stands, and industrial cold-water high pressure cleaner. This sponsorship is part of the NYDA’s Entrepreneurship Grant Program.

As part of reaching out to the youth in rural areas social dialogues play an important role in sharing reliable information. At this platform the youth receive presentations from IDC and SEFA and other relevant stakeholders. The youth is encouraged to heed to this call and urged to be part of the solution, about 300 young people will attend.
