Standing Committee on Appropriations to be briefed on the steps taken to mitigate fraud and corruption related to COVID-19 relief funds

The Standing Committee on Appropriations will tomorrow receive a briefing from the National Treasury on the First Quarter Expenditure Report for the 2020/21 financial year and steps taken to mitigate the fraud and corruption regarding spending of Covid-19 funds.
