Transport Deputy Minister, Honourable Sindisiwe Chikunga will give a keynote address during the South African Association of Freight Forwarders' Congress in Johannesburg tomorrow.
Since its inception, the congress has grown in terms of delegate numbers and industry support and is a definitive knowledge event focused on the trends, opinions, issues and opportunities facing freight logistics providers.
The Deputy Minister will address the members of the Association,Congress delegates and captains of the sector on initiatives the Department is embarking upon in support of the sector.
Later in the evening, the Deputy Minister will give a keynote address a Gala Dinner to raise funds for road safety initiatives. The Gala Dinner is a joint initiative with the Eqstra Fleet Management Company. Eqstra Fleet Management started and partnered with the Department on the Think Pedestrian Campaign.
