The Department of Social Development under the leadership of the Deputy Minister, Honourable Hendrietta Bogopane-Zulu, in collaboration with SANAC, will host the HIV and AIDS Workshop on Friday, 28 November 2014, in Centurion, Pretoria.
The aim of the workshop is to engage the entire organisation and the private sector that are working on HIV and AIDS, to discuss the achievements and challenges they experience since the implementation of the National Strategic Plan on HIV and AIDS, as well as provide a way forward on how we can improve on the objectives.
Our then Deputy President, Honourable Kgalema Motlanthe, stated in the National Strategic Plan that: “Our efforts are to contribute to the global vision of an AIDS-free world. This vision is attainable; let us continue to strive towards it.”
