SAPS to host the 51st International Association of Women Police (IAWP) Training conference

South Africa will be home to the International Association of Women Police’s (IAWP) 51st Training conference when the South African Police Service (SAPS) hosts the symposium at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre in Durban, South Africa from 22 to 26 September 2013.

The theme for the conference is “Global Empowerment of Women in Policing”. Delegates, who will be coming from almost 100 countries across the globe, will be part of the first ever African experience to celebrate excellence in women empowerment in policing through a line-up of training and mentoring programmes at IAWP’s annual training symposium.
